About Us

Our owner Joe Ferrigno quit his job and took his passion for the outdoors, foraging, and mycology to the next level in 2023. Since then, we have increased our production space to become Lake Tahoe's first, and only, fungi-focused retail space, enabling us to provide fresh mushrooms and mycology supplies directly to the community year-round!

Tahoe Mushroom Company is a high-elevation, gourmet mushroom farm located in beautiful South Lake Tahoe, California at 6254' above sea level.
